Description Color photograph depicting the interior of Sidney Undergarment Company, located in the south basement storefront of 97 Orchard Street. Image shows Sidney Undergarmet Company's 'Going out of Businees' sale, the first sign Sidney Meda bought. According to his granddaughter, Batya Halpern, most of his signs were handmade and can been seen on the left hand side of this photograph. Sidney never took refunds or returns even when threatened by angry customers. The business occuppied the south storefront of 97 Orchard Street during the 1970s.
